Lifesaving Bronze Medallion Certificate Course commences at SLNS Gemunu

The Lifesaving Bronze Medallion Certificate Course was inaugurated at SLNS Gemunu on 10th December 2018. Candidates may apply to the Lifesaving Bronze Medallion Certificate Course upon successful completion of the Basic Lifesaving Course (BLS) and Intermediate Lifesaving Course (ILS).

 The inaugural course was attended by 30 naval personnel belonging to the Rapid Response Rescue & Relief Unit (4RU). The course includes a wide range of swimming pool activities, beach events, sea swimming and various lifesaving rescue drills. The course will be terminated on 24^th December 2018.
